The customised version allows individuals to identify and extract measures by topic, level, tumour site, organisation type and
subject area in a variety of formats. Both PDF (Adobe Portable Document Format) and CSV (Comma Separated Value) formats are
offered; the latter can be opened in Excel and used for electronic data collection.
Please note:
Some of the output formats include options which produce summary lists of the measures selected without the full text containing
the details and compliance information. Before selecting the output type, it is important to note that assessments will be based on
the full definition of the measure as described in the manual, including information provided in the introductions to each topic.
While the summary lists will have a variety of useful applications, the summary descriptions themselves do not always convey the
full concept of what is being measured. It is therefore necessary to make sure you are familar with the full text.
Currently, a number of flags have been allocated to categorise the measures. The allocation of flags can sometimes be subjective
so please report any anomalies or omissions to the CQuINS team at: cquins@mayden.co.uk.
Thank you.
